Meet Carol Ann
Carol Ann is an ERYT500 Yoga instructor. She began her practice due to chronic back pain. For years her practice was purely physical, and while she enjoyed her practice she felt the spiritual aspect was missing. It wasn't until she suffered personal trauma in her life that the missing element surfaced.
"I finally got it! While on my mat I found that I could accept the suffering and find peace through the connection of body and breath. Yoga, coupled with my deep faith in God,became a prayerful moving meditation, an inward journey that brought a stillness and calm to my spirit, a sacred space."
She completed her RYT200 hour training in 2016 through Life Power Yoga and RYT300 hour training in 2021 through The Enlightened Yoga School. She had a long time dream of starting a Yoga School and spent the year of 2022 developing a Yoga Teacher Training program that integrates the history, philosophy, physiology, anatomy and professional ethical standards for Yoga teachers in one program. She is committed to the advancement of Yoga as a lifelong practice for ethical diversity and inclusive practices that welcome all.
Carol Ann's teaching style, both in the studio and with her trainees blends the elements of asana, pranayama, and meditation to achieve unity of body, breath and spirit. Her unique style is that of her own creative nature and genuine love of people that is evident to all.
